Gay Alums Out at Oral Roberts U
Homecoming was a little bit different this year at Oral Roberts
University (ORU) in Tulsa, Oklahoma as some of its gay and lesbian
alumni dared to come out to their non-gay schoolmates. <SNIP>
ORU public relations director David Wagner told the Tulsa World the
school did not want to "pre-judge" anyone but rather to "view
with a Christian attitude and to reach out to all people." That puts
miles ahead of Bob Jones University, which once advised a gay alum he
would be arrested for trespassing if he visited the campus.

ORU-OUT welcomes visitors to its Web site with a quotation from
Romans 8:38-39 that nothing "shall separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus, Our Lord."
