      A correction, news article, and today's General Conference agenda.

      1. CORRECTION: Scared Worth
      In today's newsletter from Affirmation. There is a typo in the article by
      Nester Gerente, a gay man from the Philippines. It should read:
      "I am a person of sacred worth. That's what the Bible and the Book of
      Discipline declares." NOT "scared worth"-- though the typo gives some food
      for thought in terms of the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and
      transgendered persons (LGBT) today, who have reasons to be scared due to
      spiritual, emotional, and physical violence that has been directed at LGBT.
