Saw a new product on the supermarket shelf recently - imported from
the EU - window and glass cleaner with silicon(e). It's blue like
regular window cleaner, but cloudy. The silicon/e is supposed to fill
minor scratches and form a protective layer (and it did work well to
restore the gloss on my car).

Has anyone played with this stuff as a finish for polyclay? I searched
glassattic.com and found that baking items on silicon-coated paper
makes a shiny, smooth patch - it was seen as a problem if you wanted
to add more clay, or apply another finish.

But what if you use this like Future or acrylic varnish - as a last
step, buffed up after it dries and/or baked on? Has this product been
introduced in the UK yet? Has anyone tried this?

      Thanks -
      Ben
