Bellerose Zerena Zhen, chrono castaway from the year 2355 had after a few months of using her access to future super-science via the Q-Bossy, or Quantum Brain Omni-Storage Implant in her head, which along with enabling her to build some amazing devices had also, due to it being effected by the tachyon bomb that had tossed her back in time, been driven slightly daft. Decided that her changing the future by effecting individuals was just not moving fast enough for her, so gathering her resources she came up with something she called the (Trans) Porta Potty, looking like rather oddly decorated public relief facilities the items in question actually did help the people who went in them, only not like they expected.

People who entered them were in quick order disassembled down to the sub-atomic level, then reconstructed in a new form picked at random by the A.I. in the (Trans) Porta Potty and set loose with just the barest zap to the frontal lobe of the person so changed so they would forget just where and how what had happened to them had taken happened, and they were set wandering about in a happy daze for an hour or so. The whole process being fueled by the waste they had entered to get rid of in the first place.

By the time they came to themselves they found they were altogether new people, down to even having their driver license, credit cards and other ID changed to reflect this new person, and while they knew who they had been before and mentally still were, they also found they were able to get in touch with implanted information to make the new person they had been changed into accessible to them.

Bellerose thinking was it would be fun to see which won out, who they thought they were, but looked nothing like, or who everyone else would think of them as, and could be, if they just gave in to it.
Putting together the first two (Trans) Porta Potties Bellerose placed them among the dozens to be found at the annual New Orleans Fusion Jazz Festival and let Chaos take it's coarse. It was not long before the booths were alight and very busy.
