New Option on Roaming the Raceways Website
There is another new option available on the www.roamingtheraceways.com website.
Recently we had the spotlight focused on friendly (hopefully) TrackChaser competition through trophy and plaque awards provided to us and fully sponsored by Tim Frost and the National Speedway Directory. There is another TrackChaser achievement recognition program in the planning stages as well.
It was suggested that an option be available for anyone that meets the criteria for webiste inclusion and who wants to be an active and participating member of the group, but for whatever reason, would prefer not to be part of any competitive ranking system. The "Voluntarily Non Ranked TrackChaser" option is now available. This option provides a way to display an overall track list that is updated weekly as new tracks are reported, while voluntarily not appear in any statistical rankings. To see a sample of this option, visit the WILL WHITE track list on the website.
Don't forget the other recently added options for displaying track listings. An opportunity to add non TC countable "Tracks with Non TrackChaser Classes or Formats" and "Non TrackChaser Tracks" to your track lists. These tracks will not appear in any statistical tally or affect any ranking in any way. To see a sample of both of these options, visit the RICK YOUNG track list on the website.
Any listed TrackChaser can now add personal "Notes" to any of their tracks. To see a sample of this option, visit the VIRGINIA SCHULER track list on the webpage.
TC countable tracks may voluntarily be permanently deleted from a track list if a person decides they do not want to count a particular countable track for personal reasons. To see a sample of this option, visit the NANCY BROWN track list on the webpage.
There are at least two more additional options in various stages of implementation. The intent is to give everyone more flexibility within the framework of the TrackChaser group counting guidelines so that they can have more control over their individual track listing and how it is displayed. The result will hopefully be a more fun and enjoyable hobby for everyone. Please continue to submit your ideas. If an idea is technologically feasible, does not interfere with the existing options of other group members and their choices, and does not conflict with the TC countability guidelines, it will be strongly considered.
The feedback and suggestions are very helpful in trying to provide a site for everyone to display their TrackChasing accomplishments in a way that is enjoyable to them. Keep them coming.
