      TrackChasers:

(Weekly Listserve Update #65). A short report this week as I have a killer headache tonight. There were 106 new track visits added to theTrackChaser database during the past week. Four of those visits were from last weekend, at two tracks. Both of those tracks were brand new for anyone in the group.

Three TrackChasers benefitted from Bruce Eckel's discovery of the CNYIRA race at Saint Lawrence Motorsports Park. Mike Knappenberger became the first of 2012 to reach double figures in new tracks. Rick Young scored his 200th different TC track. Congrats to both.

Roland Vanden Eynde saw a race at a new track in his home country of Belgium. His fourth new track of 2012 was in his fourth different country of the year, and Belgium brought the group total of the year to seven different countries.

Brian Hickey added two tracks from 2010 that were missing from his track list.

And the TrackChaser Research Group came through again, submitting a new TC Project Driver. Emanuele Pirro from Rome, Italy had his list debut with 103 different tracks, above the minimum for Europeans. He became the 72nd person to have their track lists chronicled on my website.

The Pirro addition pushed the total number of group track visits in the database to over 34,000 visits. Amazing.

The rule proposal submitted by Paul Weisel remains open until the end of the month for eligible voters. Any eligible voters planning to vote must do so by the end of the weekend. The results will be announced Monday.

I'd like to wish safe travels to Mike Knappenberger, who is heading to Mississippi, his 40th different state. And safe travels to Bruce and Pat Eckel as they head on a minor league baseball spring training adventure.

Anyone who wants to add track dates, change or complete track namesthat appear on their track list, add information to their personal"Notes" column for each track, orrequest any other changes to their track lists are encouraged to do soat any time and if possible, the changes will be made in the order theyaresubmitted.

There have been 55 new tracks reported so far in 2012. Mike Knappenberger paces the field with ten.
