Pam, Was this an FHA? If so, HUD REQUIRES all exterior surfaces with a contributory value to be painted, unless they are naturally water resistant. Period. So,

Pamela: I probably wouldn’t as long as there is no rot present now. I believe I would point out your concern and require the plywood be painted or treated

I know that with at least one of my cameras that the connector cord is universal (used one meant for something else and it worked fine) also, check the manual
