- Unusual one shot this week. Beautifully painted book by any standards, there is no words. Just art. It does kind of tell a story, though.It shows some of Conans adventures leaving Cimmeria. He has to battle wolves, then confronts a mountain lion, fights a bear, finally comes to a castle where he is captured. I think the story is that his captor is murdered in his sleep by his wife perhaps, so he is freed.Since there are no captions or dialog, hard to be sure exactly what it going on. Just a kind of experiment. Some great art for sure, if anything maybe too artsy fartsy.stephan
