      Yeah, There are a variety of arguments that the Romans made it to Lambay Island

      History lesson needed :) I read some silly book by someone that the Romans
      turned up in dublin or Dundalk and built a fort, then stayed a while and went
      back to Albion as it was nothing but savages and wastelands....nothing changed
      there! :)

      Also the Romans never entered Ireland though Agricola thought of
      conquering it. It was the English who were hemmed in at the Pale just
      outside of Dublin.
