      Hello TV Comic-O-Philes!

A while ago we did a poll of Tom Baker TV Comic strips to rank them least favourite to most favourite and it appeared last year in article form in a compilation book of the 4th Doctor TV Comic Annuals' and Specials' strips.

Attached is a page for your perusal (if you don't happen to have the lovely tome itself handy.)

Anyway, the next book is to be a Mighty TV Comic styled tabloid magazine of the Troughton colour strips from issues 824 to 853.   In it will also be an article which is a countdown of all the Second Doctor's strips.

This is a message asking if anyone would like to join in with the reading/rating game?   Doesn't matter if you don't have any of the previous TV Comic compilation books, and it doesn't matter if you don't get the Troughton vol3 itself when it appears.

All is required is to read all the second Doctor comic strips, giving them a mark out of 10, and making the odd comment if you feel like it.

They should though be rated objectively as 'TV Comic strips' and as a 'product of their time'.   They are not to be rated against strips such as The Iron Legion, Tides of Time or Voyager!

Everyone who is partaking's scores will be averaged to create the eventual chart.

6 to 8 weeks is the rough deadline.   If anyone wants to have a go and is shy of a few Troughton strips, send an email and help will appear.

Anyone reading all the 2nd Doctor's TV Comic strips and rating them can have the option of getting a discounted copy of the eventual mag.  Or I could find something else as a thank you I'm sure.

I've attached a checklist of the strips, and also a quick collage of some panels.

Email Arthur.zactus@... if you would like to play along.

      Thank you

      Ian
