Group Description

Discussion of the Delaware & Hudson Railroad Corp. in the Steam Era (1900-1953), to include historical information, freight and passenger operations on all divisions, and modeling Delaware & Hudson Railroad Steam Locomotives in any and all scales, with an emphasis on "O" and "HO" modeling. Topics on early transition diesels that ran with steam are also acceptable.

(In the photo) The cab of D&H Class K-63, 4-8-4 #312, as she sits facing south in the Carbondale Yard, enroute to the infamous scrapper, Luria Brothers of Reading, PA. The date is August 3, 1953. Tragically #312 is only 10 years old...
