I am looking for a seamstress to work with me creating historical clothing from the Victorian and Edwardian Periods. I have a website specializing in providing clothing for historic reenactors. I want to offer my customers unique items that no one else is carrying. I need to find someone who is willing to make one piece at a time as all of my orders are pretty much custom order, without being too customized and priced right where both of us can make some money, and still affordable for the general public.
I would give anything if I could sew my self and creating my own designs, but that is why I am looking for someone to work with me.
Please contact me off line if you wish.
      Thank you
      Dianne

      With Warmest Regards,
      Dianne

Does any know if it is period for an underskirt to be cartridge
pleated and the over skirt is cartridge pleated? Would you use a bum
roll, or is there a better way to control the weight or "puff" at the
      waist? Just curious. :)

      Thank you once again,
      Kimberly
