      Hey all!

In the never ending search for fabulous fabric at
great prices for my little business, I'm looking for
      some help. :)

For the majority of my robes, tunics, and dresses, I
use Kona Cotton--it's lightweight, sturdy, and the
color selection can't be beat. Problem is that it
runs at $4.30 a yard regular (around here) and $3.50
on sale. I found some at $2.97/yard in Atlanta (Hobby
Lobby, sale runs through July 7 for those who care!
*grin*) and bought a whole bunch.

Does anyone know where you can get it cheaper than
$4.30, prefrabally mail-order or on the internet?

I also live in NC--there *are* fabric mills in this
state. I know they're here, and I know that many
mills will sell end-of-bolt runs or selvages at
pennies on the dollar. Thing is... I don't know how
      to *find* them. Any thoughts?

      THanks!

      -Laura Dake

You might try looking up Robert Kaufman (try
variations) fabrics. I'm not sure where they are
located, but we order Kona cottons from them. You
might also try fabric.com (Phoenix Textiles). They've
        always got great deals.

        fabricclub.com
        fabricdotcom.com

I find most of my fabric sources in the ad sections of
sewing magazines (SewNews and Threads). If you can
get ahold of a business to business yellow pages, you
should be able to find the mills in your area.

        Hope this helps.
