    I found some inexpensive Victorian boots at www.911costumes.com. They are definitely costume boots rather than a well made shoe, but for stage they worked

      are definitely "costume" boots rather than a well made shoe, but for
      stage they worked well. I used them for a production in which the women
      were doing moderate dancing and they held up just fine.
