I will also be using a black fabric that isn't that shiny velvet stuff. I have been strongly suggested I use a poly-rayon blend because it drapes like a dream and can be thrown into the laundry to be washed and dried. I searched high and low for poly-rayon fabric to no avail. Aside from costume fabric--which doesn't have the heavy bottom weight nor the drape that I want--the only other poly-rayon blend that I could find was a ponte roma knit; however, while the ponte roma knit draped not just like a dream but like a FANTASY, the color was a charcoal black, rather than an actual black, and it was insanely expensive!!! I was wondering if anyone can recommend any other fabric-types (not necessarily a poly-rayon blend) that can easily be laundered and drapes like a dream?! It actually HURT to have to put that ponte roma back, because it felt soooo luxurious and draped so exquisitely! :/ I will also be lining the sleeves with red satin, because the color has significance to Celtic mythology.Thanks,Wade-----Original Message-----
