Gatecon has always tried to have a surprise for its attendees each
year, and 2007 was no different, but they hadn't had one.... UNTIL
NOW!!!!

So, Hold onto your hats......

"Gatecon is very excited to announce that we are in the process of
working out the final arrangements, but can now confirm that both
RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON and Capt. Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd
Conservation Society have agreed to join us at Gatecon 2008 in Vancouver.

As Gatecon is devoting its charity efforts towards SSCS, we are
planning to make Friday August 22 a very special Sea Shepherd day in
which both Richard and Paul will be there to entertain you with a day
full of special events.

For Stargate fans we can also confirm that in a rare public
appearance, Richard will join the Gatecon family for the entire
weekend of activities. As we said, we are still working on the final
details and will post full details of his appearance on the Gatecon
site shortly.

Instrumental in our negotiations with Richard has been Paul Brown from
Legends Memorabilia, and Gatecon was thrilled to have Paul join the
party in Reading via cell phone from Vancouver, during which he
confirmed this very exciting news!!!!

Ticket sales for Vancouver will start up again in the next two weeks
so keep watching the site or join the GC mailing list for updates.
