obit: Lucian "Lou" Holy
Lucian "Lou" Holy, 63, of Pasadena, passed away Monday, February 11, 2002 at the Veterans Hospital in Houston.
Lou was born February 11, 1939 in Houston, to parents George V. Holy, Jr. and Mary Ann Shipula Holy, a former resident of California and has resided in the Pasadena area for the past 12 years. He was a retired Typesetter for Hurst Publication in California, graduate of the Pasadena High School class of 1957 and member of the First Baptist Church of Highlands. He enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors and making model planes.
Mr. Holy was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Holy.
He is survived by his father, George V, Holy, Jr. and Dorothy C. of Highlands; brother, Donald G. Holy and wife Dorothy of Hardin; sisters, Jeannette Nichols and husband, S.A. of Pasadena and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2002 at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with burial follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Holy, Jeffery Price, Glen Watson, Michael Watson and S.A. Nichols.
Services are under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home, Dayton, TX.
