obit: Vera Zarsky
Mrs. Vera Zarsky died at 2:30 Wednesday morning at the Gaidosek home, on Route 1, in the 86th year of her age.
The decedent was a resident of Waller County for 43 years and had made her home with the Gaidosek family, who were her great nephews and nieces, since the death of her husband eleven years ago. After the death of their mother, she cared for the Gaidosek boys and girls and gave them the love and attention of a mother, and her death was a great sorrow to them.
Mrs. Zarsky was a lifelong Catholic and helped to keep the Faith alive in the hearts of those in her care.
Besides the Gaidosek family the only near relatives surviving her, are two nephews; Joe and Frank Kaspar, and a great niece, Mrs. Frank Gregor, all of Waller County.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, at the home and grave, according to the rites of the Catholic Church, by Father M. O’Regan of Hempstead.
Burial took place at 3 o’clock in the Pattison Cemetery under the direction of the Muske Undertaking Company.
