obit: Edward John Barosh
Edward John Barosh, 91, of Floresville entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2013. Edward was born to Harry and Mollie Barosh on October 16, 1921. He was a life-long resident of Floresville, with the exception of four years he spent in the Army from 1942 to 1946, where he saw service in Germany, France and Belgium.
Edward was preceded in death by an infant sister; his parents, Harry and Mollie; and his wife, Josephine.
He is survived by his sons, Rudy (wife, Stella), and John (wife, Mary); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our most sincere thanks to the nursing staff at the Veteran's Home, Mr. Richard Krueger (Veteran's Affairs Rep.), and the Odyssey Hospice staff.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Vinyard Funeral Home, Floresville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Floresville, followed by interment at Floresville City Cemetery.
