Frank Klekar, Sr., aged 67 years died at the Dufner Hospital Monday, May 8th at 4:30 p.m. after being ill there for the past five weeks.  The funeral procession left the family residence at St. Mary's Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. and Requiem High Mass was celebrated in the St. Mary's Church at 9:30 a.m.  Interment took place in the St. Mary's Cemetery.  Rev. D. Sykora was assisted by Rev. Mathis and Rev. Kuratko.

Mr. Klekar was born in Czechoslovakia in the year of 1866, November 26th and in 1874, at the age of eight years with his parents, brothers and sisters he came to this country and settled first in Praha and then in Breslau.  In 1895 he was married to Miss Annie Smykal and they made their home in Breslau.  To this union were born eight children, six of whom are living:  three boys Lawrence, Mathew, and Godfrey, and three girls, Mrs. Sophie Kuratko of Smithville, Mrs. John Pender, and Miss Elizabeth Klekar of San Antonio.  In 1914 a son, James, passed away, in 1928 his wife died, and in 1931 a daughter, Mrs. Della Psencik, died.  Besides his six children the deceased is survived by one brother and three sisters and a number of grandchildren.  The Tribune offers most heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
