      Mrs. Amelia Tyllick Allen, 73, of 1811 Northwood Drive, Channelview, a resident of Channelview for 30 years, died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday in a Channelview hospital.

       

      She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frances Gaylord of Highlands; seven sons, Otis E. Allen, R. J. Allen, Fred F. Allen, Louis E. Allen and Marvin E. Allen of Channelview; C. Hubert Allen of Spring, Tex., and Oscar C. Allen of Baytown; three sisters, Mrs. Frances LaPierre, Mrs. Rose Lozer and Mrs. Anna Kimmey of Houston; and two brothers, Frank Tyllick and Walter Tyllick of Houston.  Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

       

      She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Z. Allen and a daughter, Willie Mae Allen.

       

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Earthman highlands Chapel.  J. W. Davidson, minister of Cedar Bayou Church of Christ, and C. L. Lanning of Channelview Church of Christ, will officiate.  Interment will be in San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Earthman Highlands Funeral Home.

       

      Pallbearers will be Tommy Rumley, Bob Passmore, Bertram Banta, George Allen, Bert O’Bannion and Elmer Baldwin.
