obit: Barbara Rosprim
Mrs. Barbara Rosprim, a resident of this community for the past two years and the step-mother of Lewis J. Rosprim, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, after an eleven day stay in the Eagle Lake Community Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 29th from the chapel of the Mill-Bauer Funeral Home with the Rev. Father Edward Colser officiating. Favorite hymns were rendered at the organ.
The body was taken to Houston for interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery at 4 P.M. Serving as pallbearers were Albert Pustejovsky, Bill Stiles, Adolf Hollas, Joe Rosprim, Jr., of Rosenberg, and Alton Spradley.
Mrs. Rosprim was born on June 22, 1890 in Czechoslovakia. She and Mr. Rosprim resided in Houston for a number of years before coming to Eagle Lake two years ago. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20th, of last year.
Surviving are three step-sons, Frank Rosprim of Plano, Edward, Jr. of El Paso and Lewis J. Rosprim of Eagle Lake; also one niece, Mrs. Mildred Morhesky of Denver, Colorado; eleven step-grandchildren, and five great-step-grandchildren and other relatives.
Friends join in extending sympathy to the family in the loss of this loved one.
