obit: Vaclav Frank Mutina
EL CAMPO – Vaclav Frank Mutina, 87, resident of the El Campo community for more than 67 years, died Sunday in a local rest home.
Mr. Mutina, a longtime employee of Hancock Brothers Inc., was born Sept. 28, 1892 in Czechoslovakia.
A Knights of Columbus rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Triska Funeral Home Chapel, with a parish rosary at 7 p.m. The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to St. John’s Catholic Church in Taiton for funeral services at 2 p.m. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. A. Petru will officiate, with burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Marshall of Midway, Ohio; Mrs. Judy Motal of East Bernard and Mrs. Tillie Slick of Houston; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
