obit: Theresa Polasek Burdick
Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa P. Burdick, 8?, of Victoria, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Tesch officiating.
She died at 10:45 p.m. Friday at a Victoria hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Burdick was born in Czechoslovakia on Aug. 24, 1891, and moved to the United States in 190?. She had lived in Victoria for 20 years and was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Matula of Wharton, Mrs. Ella Kelly of Port Lavaca and Mrs. Ruth Schaefer of Clute; two sons, Charles Burdick of Port Lavaca and Fred Burdick of Victoria; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Ondrasek of Temple and Mrs. Agnes Vavra of Caldwell; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and parents, George and Rose Polasek.
Pallbearers will be Louis J. Herberich, Maurice R. KIelly Jr., Maurice Kelly Sr., Allen Mickle, Herbert B. Leita and Ernest F. Dick Jr.
