      Myles Charlie Esterak, 86, of DaCosta, resident of Victoria County for the past 76 years, died at 1 p.m. Monday in a nursing home in Sugar Land.

       

      Born Feb. 29, 1892, he was the son of the late Charlie and Frances Jurosek Esterak.  He was the retired owner of a blacksmith shop and garage, and was a member of Bloomington Church of Christ.

       

      He also was a member of SPJST, Woodmen of the World, and Victoria Masonic Lodge.

       

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Walter Stevens of Hubbard, Texas officiating.  Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Victoria Masonic Lodge.

       

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Theresa Agnes Esterak of DaCosta; a daughter, Mrs. Georgia Buck of Corpus Christi; a son, Myles Esterak of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Mikeska of San Angelo; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

       

      Pallbearers will be members of Victoria Masonic Lodge and Kenneth Esterak, David Rodney, Esterak, Jimmy Buck and Henry Starnes, all grandsons.
