      HALLETTSVILLE - Marcella W. Fikac Klekar, 87, of Hallettsville, passed away July 22, 2013.

       

      She was born on May 28, 1926, to Charles & Carrie Pesek Fikac in Sweet Home. She was married Robert Frank Klekar on Nov. 26, 1945 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas, KJZT, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

       

      Marcella is survived by: son, Robert Dennis Klekar & wife Jeanette of Sealy; 3 daughters, Charlene Fishar & husband Frank of Hallettsville, Deberah Konvicka & husband Blasé of Hallettsville, and Connie Pape & husband Lee of Victoria; sister, Marie Sherpinskas of Victoria; sister-in-law, Beatrice Mensik of Weimar; 10 grandchildren, Melissa Klekar Shinn, Ryan Klekar, Paula Fishar Blumenthal, Sandra Fishar Hawkins, Nicole Fishar Dworsky, Krystle Konvicka Roberts, Jessica Konvicka Nelson, Kandis Konvicka, Blasé Konvicka III, and Britni Pape Wild; and 18 great grandchildren,.

       

      Marcella was preceded in death by: husband Robert, infant son James Wayne Klekar, grandson Bruce Fishar; her parents; 3 sisters, Henriette Klekar, Justina Mican, and Albina Fikac; and 2 brothers, Leon and Charles Fikac.

       

      Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Thursday, July 25, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hallettsville.

      Visitation: 4 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home.

      Rosary: 7 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home.

      Officiate: Rev Tommy Chen.

      Pallbearers: Ryan Klekar, Jerry Shinn, Paula Blumenthal, Sandra Hawkins, Krystle Roberts, Blase Konvicka, III, Britni and Jonathan Wild.

      Memorials: St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hospice of South Texas, or Donor's Choice.

      Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
