      Linda Darlene Matocha passed away peacefully November 9, 2012. She was 67.

       

      Linda was born June 7, 1945 in Edna, Texas to Reinhardt and Carrie Jo (Marshall) Gibson.

       

      She and her husband have owned and operated JNL Propane in Sinton for more than 23 years. Linda has resided in Sinton since 1978 and was a former member of the Sinton Band Boosters, Garden Club and 4H .

       

      Survivors include her husband Joe J. Matocha of Sinton, Texas; her mother Carrie Jo Gibson of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons: Joseph J. Matocha, Jr. and Daniel (Denise) Matocha, both of Sinton, Texas; Patrick Matocha and Brian Matocha, both of Houston, Texas; brother Ricky (Patti) Gibson of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren: Miranda, Zachary, Kayleigh and Rileigh Matocha; brothers-in-law: John (Margaret) Matocha and George Matocha, both of Beeville, Texas; nephews: Mark Matocha and Matt Matocha, both of College Station, Texas and Christopher Matocha of Kentucky; Nieces: Laura Matocha Nehaus of Waco, Texas and Carrie Matocha Schumann of College Station, Texas.

       

      Linda's father precedes her in death.

       

      Visitation began Monday, November 12, 2012, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A holy rosary followed the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton with Father Paul Rajareegam as celebrant.   Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Beeville, Texas. Pallbearers will be Joseph J. Matocha, Jr., Daniel Matocha, Patrick Matocha, Brian Matocha, Matt Matocha and Ricky Gibson.

       

      Family friend, Sharon Corpstein, will provide a luncheon for the family and their guests.

       

      Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.
