obit: Letha Molik
LETHA MOLIK, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2012, in Houston.
She was born on March 1, 1921 in Universal, Indiana. Letha and Peter Molik, her loving husband of fifty-one years, were charter members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church here in Houston. Letha has made Bayou Manor, a Senior Living Community, her home for over the past three years where she was surrounded by many life-long friends from St. Andrews Church. While living at Bayou Manor, she made new wonderful friends and developed a caring relationship with a devoted staff.
Letha was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Molik; and her son, Dennis Molik.
She is survived by her son, Terry Molik and his wife Jean Ann; grandsons, Richard Molik, and Andrew Molik and his wife Tracie; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Danielle, Matthew and Seth Molik. Letha is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all of us.
Letha's family deeply appreciates the compassion and support from the Compassus Hospice, Bayou Manor nurses and staff, and so many caring friends of hers and our family.
A private interment was held by the family on Saturday, November 10, 2012 .
