ENNIS --- John Kriska, 84, retired farmer of Rt. 1, Ennis, was found dead late Thursday in his car near his home. Justice of the Peace Bill Dunn of Ferris returned an inquest verdict of death from natural causes.
Born in the Crisp community near here, he had lived in the Ennis area throughout his life and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church here.
Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Bunch Funeral Home. Requiem Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Willie, Eddie and Johnny Kriska, all of Ennis; three daughters, Mrs. August Vrana, Mrs. Bernard Kocurek and Miss Annie Kriska, all of Ennis; one brother, Joe Kriska, Ennis; one sister, Mrs. Louise Krajca, Ennis; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
