      EL CAMPO – Jim F. Hubenak, 69, longtime resident of El Campo, died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday in a Victoria hospital after a lengthy illness.

       

      Born March 2, 1910, in Burleson County, Mr. Hubenak was an employee of Nightingale Hospital in El Campo.

       

      A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Triska Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 9 a.m. Thursday when it will be taken to St. Philip Catholic Church in El Campo. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Kosler officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Memorial Park.

       

      He is survived by his wife, Augustina Hubenak of El Campo; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sczech of El Campo and Mrs. Jarvis Sczech of San Antonio; a son, J. V. Hubenak of El Campo; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Webb and Mrs. Tillie Messingale, both of El Campo; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
