Evelyn Vrazel Hubnik, 67, of Cameron died Friday, June 21 in a Cameron nursing facility. Services will be 10:00 am Monday at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church in Marak with Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Burial will follow in the Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Evelyn was born December 26, 1945 in Cameron to Lawrence and Albina Sustek Vrazel. She graduated from C.H. Yoe High School and worked for Anderle Lumber in Cameron for over 47 years. She married Milton Hubnik on May 22, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church and the Altar Society in Marak. She was also a member of KJZT Society #21- Marak and KJR Society #39 – Marak. She is survived by:

Funeral services for Evelyn Vrazel Hubnik were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak with Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Evelyn died Friday, June 21, 2013 in Cameron after a lengthy battle with cancer. Burial followed in the Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Evelyn was born in Cameron Dec. 26, 1945 to Lawrence and Albina (Sustek) Vrazel, and grew up in the Yarrellton Community. After graduating from C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron, she went to work for Anderle Lumber Company in Cameron and was employed there until her death.
She was united in marriage with Milton Hubnik on May 22, 1965 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church in Marak where she was an active member of the church and the Altar Society in Marak. She was a member of KJZT Society No. 21-Marak and KJT Society #39-Marak.
She enjoyed dancing and listening to Czech music, especially Vrazels’ Polka Band, and she was very dedicated to her employers: Anton Anderle, James and Connie Anderle. She loved her job and all the people she worked with and everyone she met throughout her 47 years of employment at Anderle Lumber Company.
Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Edward Hubnik of Palacios and Brian Hubnik and wife Kallie Hubnik of Cameron; one grandchild, Natalie Hubnik; four brothers, Anton Vrazel and wife Albina; Lawrence Vrazel and wife Margaret; Albert Vrazel; Alfred Vrazel and wife Bernice all of Yarrellton; two brother-in-laws: Louis Hubnik and wife Nancy of Zabcikville; Stanley Hubnik and wife Martha of Cameron; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Seaton and husband Billy of Cameron and Katherine Hubnik of Cameron; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many family friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Hubnik on Jan. 21, 2008, by her parents, her brother, Edward, her in-laws John and Mary G. Hubnik and brother-in-law Henry Hubnik.
