      BEEVILLE – George Thomas Priour, 50, of Skidmore, died Sunday in Corpus Christi after a sudden illness.

       

      A native of Skidmore, born Jan. 30, 1928, he was a veteran of World War II and was employed as a pipefitter.  He married the former Francis Louise Mareth in Sinton April 13, 1950.

       

      Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.

       

      Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Priour of Skidmore; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Shroebter of Victoria; two brothers, Ted Priour of Sinton and Ernest Priour of Skidmore, six sisters, Mrs. Bessie White of Alabama, Mrs. Dean Cobb of Ingleside, Mrs. Loreta Barta of Clareville, Mrs. Laura Smith of Canadian, Mrs. Tommie Walshes of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Janice Hudson of Louisiana and one grandchild.
