      HALLETTSVILLE – Felix “Fred” Mozisek, 66, of Route 2 in Hallettsville, died Monday at 12:30 a.m. in a local hospital.

       

      Born in Lavaca County Oct. 28, 1913, Mr. Mozisek was a farmer and rancher who married Bernice Piper March 4, 1968 in Danbury.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

       

      Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Henry Psencik officiating.  The body will lie in state at Kubena Funeral Home until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday when it will be taken to the church for services.

       

      Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

       

      Rosary will be recited by the parish Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

       

      Surviving, other than Mr. Mozisek’s wife, are a son, Willie Mozisek of Wharton; four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Janca, Mrs. Mary Kutach and Mrs. Louise Castecka, all of Hallettsville, and Mrs. Albina Huehlefeld of Victoria; three brothers, Victor and Leon Mozisek of Inez, and Otto Mozisek of Edna.
