Evelyn Mary “Eve” Stewart of Brazoria, Texas, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004, in Brazoria, Texas. She was 62.
She was born in Needville, Texas, on Monday, March 10, 1941. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by husband of 26 years Barry Lynn Stewart of Brazoria; sons Jimmy Louis Lincoln and wife, Susan, of Fairchild, Robert Bruce Lincoln and wife, Cindy, of Needville, John Wayne Lincoln of Canyon Lake; daughter Letha Ann Kobulnicky and husband, Steven, of Montgomery; brothers Gerald Franek and wife, Loraine, of Beasley, Edwin Franek and wife, Joyce, of Sugar Land, Ted Franek and wife, Sherri, of Katy; sisters Nina Boren of West Columbia, Lois Tackwell of Lake Jackson, Iris White and husband, Royd, of West Columbia; grandchildren Brandon, Christopher, T.J., Benjamin, Timothy, Justin and Adrianna; step-daughter Cynthia Lynn Stewart; special friends Sandy and John Turkovitch of Brazoria and Kathy Kersh Wleczyk of Brazoria.
She was preceded in death by parents Steve and Mary Franek, grandson Jason Robertson, father-in-law Clark Steward and brother-in-law Jerry Wayne Stewart.
She was a Brazoria resident for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church – Brazoria. She worked in the fabrics and crafts dept. at WalMart in Lake Jackson for 11 years surrounded by many loving associates. She loved to bake and do crafts and was an excellent seamstress. Eve and her wit and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be at the First Baptist Church – Brazoria on Monday, February 16, 2004, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Doyle officiating. Visitation will be at Baker Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Brazoria. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia, Texas.
Pallbearers are Edwin Dale Flippo, Chris Franek, David Franek, Vincent Mitchamore, Benjamin Pardue, Timothy Pardue, T.J. Robertson, Keith Weiss and Tim White.
