      Guardian Angel Catholic Church

      Rev. Thuy Quang Nguyen celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal.

       

      Interment in the

      Holy Cross Polish Cemetery in Sealy.

       

      Visitation, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 9:30 am until Service Time.

      Rosary at 10:30 am Guardian Angel Catholic Church.

      Memorials to: Charity of Choice.

       

      Funeral Services for Tillie Cieslewicz, 97, of Houston (formerly of Wallis) were held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:00 am from Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with Rev. Thuy Quang Nguyen celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of committal. Interment was in the Holy Cross Polish Cemetery in Sealy. Pallbearers were Robert Coker, Thomas Browning, Burton Browning, Anthony Zarsky, Travis Joslin and Russell Joslin.

       

      Matilda Marie Polasek was born on August 6, 1915 in Wallis, Texas to parents Anton and Albina Polasek. She was raised in Wallis and attended Guardian Angel Catholic School and was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Tillie married Frank L. Cieslewicz in Frydek and was a homemaker all her life.

       

      Survivors include her daughters, Constance Coker of Cypress, Texas and Linda Browning and husband Don Sharky of Roger, Arkansas, son, John Cieslewicz of Houston and sister, Mary Laskoskie of Silsbee, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

       

      She is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Albina Polasek, husband, Frank L. Cieslewicz, son, Lawrence Cieslewicz, brothers, Ben and Zigmund Polasek. Memorials made to: Charity of Choice.
