HALLETTSVILLE – Adolph B. Dusek, 76, of 200 N. Prominade, Hallettsville, died Sunday at his residence after a sudden illness.
The body will lie in state at Kubena Funeral Home until 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Services will be at Czech Moravian Brethren Church at Vsetin at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Henry Beseda and the Rev. Jessie Skrivanek officiating. Burial will be in Vsetin Cemetery.
He was a member of the Czech Moravian Brethren Church at Vsetin. He was a member and past president of SPJST Lodge of Bila Hora.
Born in Bila Hora, Nov. 8, 1903, he retired in 1972 as city engineer of Hallettsville after 35 years’ service.
Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a sister; seven half-brothers, and five half-sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lydia Trlica Dusek of Hallettsville; a brother, Oscar Dusek of Hallettsville; and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Guenther of Weimar and Mrs. Leonard Woytek of Hallettsville.
A prayer services was held Monday evening at Kubena Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Victor and Melvin Dusek, Dennis Woytek, Doc Matejek, George Cervenka, Tom Kostelnik.
In lieu of regular remembrances, the family requests donations be made to the Czech Moravian Brethren Church or to the Vsetin Cemetery Association.
