Marie Sessums Zalman
MARIE SESSUMS ZALMAN, a long-time resident of Houston, died Thursday at her home.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed meals, shopping and holidays. She was a volunteer in the library at Parker Elementary. Marie was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and revered St. Jude.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Alfred Zalman; children, Vince E. (Paul) Duncan, Jr., Barbara Ellen Barnett and Patricia Karen Zalman; sister, Mildred Sessums Fallon; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00, Sunday, December 26, Earthman Bellaire Chapel, 6700 Ferris with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 27, 2004, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft. Rite Committal: Forest Park Lawndale.
