      Funeral services for Daniel Roy Maly, age 62, of Hungerford, TX, are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, November 8, 2007, at the Chapel at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461, with Rev. Alvis Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Needville Public Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lukas Smith, Jacob Lowery, Ryan Walker, Josh Haynie, Scott Wleczyk, and Shawn McIntire. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at the Chapel at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Needville, TX.

       

      Mr. Maly was born May 20, 1945, in Fort Bend County, TX, to Frank Joe Maly and Kristina Zbranek Maly. He died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at his residence. He was retired from Wharton County Road & Bridge, Pct 2. He was a Presbyterian, an avid fisherman and hunter, loved playing dominoes with friends, and loved gardening.

       

      Survivors include his wife, Judy Maly, of Hungerford, TX; daughter, Denise Lindsey-Domino and Alec, of League City, TX; sons, Daniel Ray Maly and wife, Rachel, of League City, TX, Russell Trail of Needville, TX, Allen Fox and wife, Patty, of Corpus Christi, TX, and Daniel Fox and wife, Crystal, of Corpus Christi, TX; 11 Grandchildren: Josh Haynie, Lukas Smith, Ryan Walker, Jacob Lowery, Raina Walker, Robbie Walker, Jordan Trail, Avery Trail, Nichole Lindsey, Brandon Fox, and Dylan Fox; sister, Gladys Randermann of Needville, TX; 2 brothers, Raymond Maly and wife, Betty, of Wyoming, and Bennie Maly and wife, Kathy, of LaMarque, TX; very special "cuz", Bill Maly; and numerous other relatives and friends.

       

      He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Helen Curlee.

       

      Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 570127/Houston, TX 77257-0127 or to the First Baptist Church of Needville, 14022 Hwy 36/Needville, TX 77461.
