Albert Tom Zabojnik, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Dallas, Texas.
Albert was born on April 2, 1934 to Tom and Josie (Holy) Zabojnik in Alma, Texas. He grew up in the Ferris area and graduated from Ferris High School in 1951. He married Shirley Jean Marvin and they made their home in Dallas, Texas. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.
He worked for Mrs. Baird’s Bread Company for thirty-four years.
He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Zabojnik of Dallas; sister-in-law, Mary M. Zabojnik; nieces and nephews: Monica Sparkman and her husband, Rick Sparkman, E.J. Zabojnik and his wife, Lin Zabojnik, Saundra Zabojnik and her partner Sandy, Michele Rudy and her husband Blake Rudy, Craig Zabojnik and his wife, Brenda Zabojnik and Joanne Holstein and her husband, Vance Holstein and his best friend Justina Kutil.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, Joe Zabojnik and Emil Zabojnik.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. John Catholic Church with interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
