LILLIAN DRESSLER HELLER
RICHMOND - Lillian Dressler Heller of Richmond, formerly of El Campo, died April 16, 2013 at the age of 89.
She was born on November 27, 1923 in El Campo to the late Frank W. and Cecilia Orsak Dressler. She was a bookkeeper for her husband as they managed private airports for over 25 years in Austin, Georgetown, Muscatine, IA and Selma, ALA. She was a former active member of SPJST, Civil Air Patrol Ladies Aux. and the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association.
She is survived by her daughter Glenda Durst and husband Steve of San Antonio; son Charles Heller of Houston; sisters Dolores Sliva of Lane City, Lorraine Kana of El Campo, Charlyne Labay of East Bernard, and Janell Labay of Hampshire; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years Glen Heller; brothers George, Jerome, Ted W., Edward Dressler; and sisters Vlasta Halamicek and Bertha Kunetka.
Visitation will begin 2:00 pm Thursday at Triska Funeral Home with a parish rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Friday, April 20, 2013, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Reverend Albert Yankey officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Lillian Heller may be made to the Parkinsons Disease Association or to St. Philip Catholic Church.
