- Ella was my dad's cousin. She was a real nice lady. She had been tending her garden when a bunch of bees attacked her. After that she went into a nursing home and never came out. HALLETTSVILLE - Ellanora A. "Ellie" Fojt, 96, of Hallettsville, passed away April 5, 2013.
She was born on Aug. 28, 1916 to Willie M. & Frances Pustejovsky Walters in Hobson, TX. She married Emil "Cap" Fojt on Sept. 15, 1936 in Hallettsville. She was a member of the Vsetin Christian Sisters, S.P.J.S.T. Lodge 16 of Bila Hora and later of Lodge 4 of Hallettsville, and Vsetin Czech Moravian Brethren Church.
Ellie leaves to mourn her many niec es and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, and a host of friends young and old.
Ellie was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; 2 brothers, R.J. Walters and W.F. Walters; and 2 sisters, Lillie Schindler and Clara Schafer.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Vsetin Czech Moravian Brethren Church.
Visitation: 4 pm, Monday, at Kubena Funeral Home.
Officiate: Rev. Mark Labaj.
Pallbearers: James Kahanek, Jacob Kahanek, Cole Kahanek, Donald Steffek, Gaylen Fojt, and < span class="SpellE">Tramer
Memorials: Bila Hora Cemetery Association, Vsetin Christian Sisters, or Hospice of South Texas.
Burial: Bila Hora Cemetery.
