      SHINER - James Walter Roznovsky, age 83, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013.

       

      He was born on February 14, 1930 in Lavaca County to Jim and Esther Werner Roznovsky. He worked at Kaspar Wire Works for 39 years, member of Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Army.

       

      Survivors: wife, Janie Janak Roznovsky of Shiner; sister, Edna Mae Wehman of Hallettsville; brother, Clarence Roznovsky of Houston and several nieces and nephews.

       

      Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Pilat.

       

      Rosary on Monday at 1:15 p.m. at the church. Funeral mass on Monday at 2 p.m. at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery near Hallettsville.

       

      Pallbearers: Billy Perdziak, Mark Janak, Paul Janak Jr, Larry P. Janak, Larry L. Janak, Thomas Janak and Jeffrey Janak. Honorary pallbearers: Rodney Janak, Brian Janak, Paul Janak Sr and Steve Janak.

      Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
