      VACEK – Weimar, Tex., April 25.—Staches  Vacek, a lifelong resident of this community, died at his home after a brief illness.  Decedent was born March 30, 1872, in Moravia, Austria – Hungary; came to the United States when about 7 years old and located at Ammannsville, Tex.  He was engaged in business at Holman and Weimar all his life.  Surviving are his wife and seven  children, two brothers, J. J. Vacek of Weimar and Emil of Schulenburg; four sisters, Mrs. J. W. Dobrova and Mrs. Ad Stavinoha of Ammannsville, Mrs. V. Bartosh of Granger and Mrs. Frank Sobotik of Lyons, Tex.  Funeral services were conducted today by Rev. J. Szymanski.  Interment was in the Holman Cemetery.
