YOAKUM – Joint funeral services for Paul M. Jacobs, 64, and his wife, Margaret S. Jacobs, 58, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Yoakum with the Rev. Orion Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum.
Mr. Jacobs was a salesman-trainer for the Tandy Corp. He was a veteran of World War II and was born on Oct. 6, 1914, in Delta, Iowa.
Mrs. Jacobs, who was born in San Antonio on Jan. 18, 1921, was a member of the First United Methodist church in Yoakum. She was a former employee of the Texas Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
Mr. Jacobs is survived by a son, Robert P. Jacobs of Sunnyville, Calif.; two stepsons, Craig Vrazel of Corpus Christi and Brian Vrazel of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. E. H. McNabb of Fresno, Calif. and two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Long, Elvis Othold, Cliff Hartnett, Tex Thompson, Britt Jenkins and Jim Witte.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by two sons, Craig Vrazel of Corpus Christi and Brian Vrazel of San Antonio; a stepson, Robert P. Jacobs of Sunnyville, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Herring of San Antonio; a half-sister, Mrs. Ethel Davis of San Antonio, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Vogt, Bill Browning, Thomas Rinn, Hayden Deborah, Don Kaspar and M.G. Cornelius.
In lieu of the usual remembrances, the family requests that contributions be made to a favorite charity.
