Julie A. Vaclavik, 54, passed away into God's arms on September 12th, 2011, after a long battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her parents, John & Phyllis Miscavage.

Julie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Wayne; and her son Matthew, his wife Natalie, and son, Kevin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Randy & Janet Vaclavik, Brent & Karen Moreland, Richard & Mendy Vaclavik, John & Linda Roche, and Scott & Laurie Belknap; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Julie had a career in nursing and in the managed care industry, but her family was most important to her. She was a volunteer of many years in the schools her sons attended and was a faithful volunteer with Sta-Mo YSA, where their oldest son played baseball for 10 years. Julie was also involved in teaching catechism through her church for a number of years, and most recently, taught English to adults through the Learn English Ministry. Her favorite trip with Wayne will always be the Mediterranean cruise they took for their 25th wedding anniversary.

A Visitation and a Rosary will be on Tuesday, September 13th, from 6-8pm at The Settegast-Kopf Co @ Sugar Creek. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 14th, at 11am, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in Manvel, TX. The family will have a private burial service.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Julie's memory to the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of your choice.

Arrangements under the direction of The Settegast-Kopf Company@Sugar Creek, Sugar Land, TX.
