SHINER - Henry Vincik, of Shiner, Texas passed away on May 1, 2012 at the age of 95. Visitation will be on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner. Funeral service will be held at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Burial will follow at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
Henry was born on July 15, 1916 in Shiner, Texas to the late Joe and Rosie (Pekar) Vincik. Henry married Beatrice (Dusek) Vincik and they resided in Shiner, Texas. They had five daughters. After Henry retired from farming he worked at Kaspar Wire Works for 15 years. Henry was a past member of the Knights of Columbus and Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. He was a loving father, grandfather and a devoted husband.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Beatrice on January 24, 2012, two brothers; Joe Vincik Jr. and John Vincik and three sisters; Mary Krametbauer, Albina Fric and Rosie Spann.
He is survived by five daughters; Dorothy Kalmus (Joseph F.) of Victoria, Patricia Berger (Thomas) of Magnolia, Alice Michalec (Gene) of Lago Vista, Barbara Davis (Edward"Bud") of Yoakum and Evelyn Miculka (Jimmy) of Yoakum, 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Rick Kalmus, Joe Kalmus Jr., Doug Berger, Brian Michalec, Clement Sofka, John Miculka and Eric Miculka. Honorary Pallbearers are his granddaughters; Cyndi Beach, Janice McCorkle, Debbie Berger, Amanda LeCompte, Sheri Michalec, Julie Smith, Brigid O'Mara and Colleen Guevara. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
