      Cindy Gail (Wittmann) Synnott, 54, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011 at North Austin Medical Center in Austin.

      Cindy was born in La Grange, Texas on February 9, 1957, the daughter of Leroy and Laverne (Vasut) Wittmann of La Grange. She married Thomas Joseph Synnott on October 11, 1975, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, Texas.

      Cindy was a beloved daughter and dedicated family member and friend who would do anything for anyone. Her primary love in life was being a full time Mom. Her last full-time job was with Edible Arrangements®. Special acknowledgement is given to her great talent in photography.

      She is survived by her parents, Leroy and Laverne Wittmann; husband, Thomas, of 35 years, one son Bradley Synnott of Pflugerville; one brother Curtis Wittmann and wife Kelly of DeSoto; two nephews: Blake and Adam Wittmann of Fort Worth; two special cousins: David and Susie Polasek of La Grange and numerous other dear family and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert and Helen Bordovsky, Fritz and Julie Wittmann, and brother Leroy Charles Wittmann, Jr. who passed away in 1966.

      Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, La Grange, Texas, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 with Pastor Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at La Grange City Cemetery.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dirrty Swamp Cookers, 150305 Lantern Dr., Pflugerville, TX 78660 or a charity of one’s choice.
