Mary Jane Holub, age 88, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away at Park Place Care Center in Georgetown, TX on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Mary Jane, daughter of John J. and Eleanor Milliken, was born in Folsom, New Mexico on April 24, 1924. She grew up on a ranch in Folsom, NM, and lived in Houston for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading western novels, making crafts, and watching baseball. She lived with Multiple Sclerosis for the last 60 years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and her husband, Edmund J. Holub.
Surviving Mary Jane are her sons, Edmund J. Holub Jr. and his wife Linda of Littleton, CO, and Robert D. Holub and his wife Pamela of Georgetown, TX, and her sister Anna Swanson of Albuquerque, NM, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She adored her 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with them. The grand-children are Eddie Holub and his wife Elizabeth of Littleton, CO, David Holub of Falls Village, CT, Beth and her husband Alex Cornitius of Alvin, TX, and Robert Holub of San Marcos, TX. Great-grandchildren are Ezekiel Aranda and Elijah Holub-Aranda of Mesa, AZ, Thomas, Emma, Eleanor, and Eloise Holub, all of Littleton, CO, and Jacob Cornitius of Alvin, TX.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 10 AM until 1 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home in Dripping Springs, TX. A graveside service follows at 1:30 PM at Philips Cemetery in Dripping Springs, TX.
