      Mrs. Frances Scott of Columbus, died Oct. 14 in John Sealy Hospital in Galveston after an illness of 5 weeks.

       

      She was born in Cameron Sept. 5, 1943, a daughter of Jim and Ida Faye Houston Ulicnik Newhouser and was a member of the Lutheran church.  On Dec. 5, 1963, she was united in marriage to George Scott.

       

      Funeral services were held from St. Paul Lutheran Church Sunday with The Rev. Robert Schlortt officiating.  Burial was in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery.  Henneke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

       

      Survivors include her husband, George Scott of Columbus; father Jim Ulicnik of Cameron; mother, Mrs. Ida Faye Newhouser of Glidden; half-sister, Betty Lou Stiefer of Dallas and half-brother, Lester Eugene Kotrla of Orange.

       

      Pallbearers were Leland Stoler, Bennie Isgrig, Dennis Logan, Bob Anderson, Tom Knight and Bob Meek.
