Brandon Paul Urban, 25, passed away November 11, 2011, at his home in Round Rock, Texas. Brandon was born September 15, 1986, in Minneapolis, MN, to Paul and Diana Urban. He moved to Pflugerville, TX, with his family at age 11.

Brandon began working at Dairy Queen as a crew member at age 16. Through hard work and determination, he became a shift leader in college and earned the position of assistant manager upon graduation. Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2009. He recently began selling Amway and was eagerly looking forward to beginning a new chapter in his life, with many exciting opportunities on his horizon.

Brandon's main enjoyment in life did not revolve around what he was doing, but with whom he was surrounded. Family and friends were his passion. It has often been said that Brandon was everyone's friend and always had a ready smile. Brandon's life seems too short to many, but those who were touched by his life understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of years lived. One of Brandon's favorite quotation states, "When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world" (George Washington Carver).

He is survived by parents, Paul and Diana Urban (Pflugerville, TX); brother and sister-in-law, Ryan and Kelly Urban (Pittsburgh, PA); brothers, Jesse Urban (Round Rock, TX) and Jeran Urban (Pflugerville, TX); and maternal grandparents, Patricia Helferich (Georgetown, TX) and Peter Helferich (Corpus Christi, TX).

The Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2011, at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas, and a Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, at New Life United Pentecostal Church on 4001 Adelphi Lane, Austin, TX 78727. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
